Question by HelpMe: Joint Pain! Juvenile Arthritis?
I’m a 16 y/old male and my overall health is good. However, the only problem I have is joint pain. I have had this since I was around 8 years old. When I was 8 the only joint that used to hurt was my elbow on the right arm, not only did it hurt but I also lost mobility of it (I can only move my arm until a certain distance until it stopped.) A couple of years later (maybe 2) my other elbow started to be the same way. I never went to the doctor or anything. Currently my elbows almost never ache and I have complete mobility but now my wrists, thumb finger on hands, big toe on feet, knees, sometimes hips hurt. Most of the joints hurt ONLY on rainy, humid, sudden weather changes but this past 6 months my knees have been hurting but only when I crouch or kneel down also I have noticed that I can crack almost all the joints that ache, easily. My joints only hurt when the weather changes I don’t know what this is from and I’m hoping it’s not arthritis. I drink a lot of milk and lately I have been drinking Joint Juice and have noticed that some of the swelling in my left foot goes away. Also, every morning I feel stiffness in my joints (elbow, wrists, knees, left foot) stiffness level: 3/10. Pain level: 1.5/10. No one in my family has arthritis besides my dad (Ankelosing Spondilitis) and that was caused by a bacterial infection it isn’t genetic, I also forgot to mention that I can crack my jaw as well.
